The recall covers 27,185 Air vehicles, according to a notice posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Under specific conditions, that deviation could result in excessive heat buildup, increasing the possibility of a thermal event. OTA updates allow automakers to push revised code directly to a vehicle’s onboard systems, much like a smartphone receives operating system patches.
