The Wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Already Has a Date and Will Be in a Key City for Her
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship is moving forward quickly. According to reports, the couple already has a date and location for their wedding, and they have started sending out “save the date” notices.
Although neither of them has publicly confirmed the details, the leaks suggest that the event will be one of the most commented on in the entertainment and sports world.
According to sources cited by Page Six, the wedding will be held at an exclusive location in New York City on July 3, with a carefully selected guest list.
The early sending of invitations suggests that the organization is already well advanced, which is not surprising given the media magnitude of the couple.

This new revelation surprises, as previous reports indicated that the singer and NFL player were considering having their wedding in Rhode Island, where Taylor Swift owns a large estate next to a hotel.
If they get married in New York, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will join other famous couples who got married in this city, such as Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Hailey and Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey and Tommy Mottola, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, and Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas.
The Close Link Between Taylor Swift and New York
It’s no surprise that Taylor Swift chose this date and city for her wedding. It’s known that July 4 is her favorite holiday, and it coincides with the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
Additionally, the singer has very close ties to New York. In 2014, she moved to Tribeca, a popular neighborhood in Manhattan, where she began living in a penthouse apartment, which was later expanded with adjacent properties and converted into a single unit.
On the other hand, in 2014, she wrote the song Welcome to New York as a tribute to the city.

“Like all great love, it keeps you on your toes / Like all true love, it’s constantly changing / Like all authentic love, it drives you crazy / But you know you wouldn’t change a thing, nothing, nothing,” the lyrics say.
Similarly, Taylor Swift was even named global welcome ambassador for the city of New York during 2014-2015, and the song was used to promote tourism in the city.
And if that weren’t enough, in 2016, she rented a space on Cornelia Street. A song with the same title appeared on her 2019 album, “Lover”.
